| Job 29:23 | “they opened their mouths.” Like a farmer would be hopeful and thirsty for the spring rains that would bring his crops to maturity, Job says people waited for him to speak and drank in what he said. “the spring rain.” This is the “latter rain” that falls in the spring and allows the crops to come to maturity.
