A Psalm.
1Sing to Yahweh a new song, for he has done wonderful things! His right hand and his holy arm have worked salvation for him.
2Yahweh has made known his salvation. He has uncovered his righteousness in the eyes of the nations.
3He has remembered his covenant faithfulness and his fidelity toward the house of Israel. All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
4Raise a shout to Yahweh, all the earth! Break forth and shout for joy and make music!
5Make music to Yahweh with the lyre, with the lyre and the sound of melody.
6With trumpets and the sound of a shofar, raise a shout in the presence of the King, Yahweh.
7Let the sea roar, and all that fills it; the world and those who live in it.
8Let the rivers clap their hands. Let the mountains shout together for joy
9in the presence of Yahweh, for he is coming to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness and the peoples with equity.
