God takes his stand in his own assembly. He judges in the midst of the gods.
“How long will you judge unjustly, and show partiality to the wicked?” Selah.
“Judge the weak person and the fatherless. Justify the afflicted person and the poor person.
Deliver the weak person and needy person. Snatch them out of the hand of the wicked.”
They do not know, nor do they understand. They walk to and fro in darkness. All the foundations of the earth are shaken.
I said, “You are gods, all of you are children of the Most High.
Nevertheless you will die like mere men and you will fall like any one of the rulers.”
Arise, O God, judge the earth! For it is you who possesses all of the nations.
