In you, O Yahweh, I have sought refuge. Let me never be put to shame.
Deliver me in your righteousness and rescue me! Incline your ear to me and save me.
Become for me a rock of refuge to which I may continually go. You have given the command to deliver me, for you are my cliff and my stronghold.
O God, deliver me from the hand of the wicked person, from the grip of the wrongdoer and ruthless person.
For you are my hope, O Lord Yahweh, my confidence from my youth.
I have been supported by you from my birth. You are he who cut my naval cord from my mother’s womb. My song of praise will continually be about you.
I have become an omen to many, but you are my strong refuge.
My mouth will be filled with your praise, with your splendor all day long.
Do not cast me off in my old age. Do not forsake me when my strength fails.
For my enemies talk about me. Yes, those who keep watch for my soul have consulted together,
saying, “God has forsaken him. Pursue and seize him, for there is no one to deliver him.”
O God, do not be far from me. O my God, come quickly to me help!
Let the adversaries of my soul be put to shame and be consumed Let those who seek my injury be wrapped in reproach and dishonor.
But I will continually hope, and will praise you yet more and more.
My mouth will announce your righteousness; your deliverance all day long, though I do not know its full extent.
I will come with the mighty works of the Lord Yahweh. I will make your righteousness known, yours alone.
O God, you have taught me from my youth. And I still declare your wondrous works.
Yes, even when I am old and advanced in age, O God, do not forsake me, until I have declared your strength to the next generation, your might to everyone who is to come.
Yes, your righteousness, O God, reaches to the heights of heaven; you have done great things. O God, who is like you?
You who have shown us great distresses and evil things, you will return, you will revive us, you will bring me up again from the depths of the earth.
Increase my greatness and return to comfort me!
Yes, I will praise you with stringed instruments, praising your faithfulness, O my God. I make music to you with the harp, O Holy One of Israel.
My lips will shout for joy when I make music to you; yes, my soul that you have ransomed.
Yea, my tongue will proclaim your righteousness all day long, because those who sought my injury have been put to shame and humiliated.
