1Praise Yah! O my soul, praise Yahweh.
2While I live, I will praise Yahweh; I will make music to my God as long as I exist.
3Do not put your trust in rulers, in a son of man in whom there is no deliverance.
4His breath departs, he returns to the ground. In that day his thoughts perish.
5Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in Yahweh his God,
6Creator of heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them; who keeps faithfulness forever;
7who executes justice for the oppressed; who gives food to the hungry. Yahweh frees the prisoners.
8Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind; Yahweh raises up those who are bowed down; Yahweh loves the righteous;
9Yahweh keeps watch over the sojourners; he restores the orphan and the widow, but he makes crooked the road of the wicked.
10May Yahweh rule forever; your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise Yah!
