A praise of David.
1I will exalt you, my God, the King, I will praise your name forever and ever.
2Every day I will bless you, and I will praise your name forever and ever.
3Great is Yahweh, and highly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable.
4One generation will laud your works to another, and will declare your mighty acts.
5Of the glorious majesty of your splendor and on the reports of your wondrous acts, I will meditate.
6Let them speak of the might of your awesome acts, yes, I will tell of your great acts.
7Let them speak forth the memory of your abundant goodness, and let them shout joyfully of your righteousness.
8Yahweh is gracious and merciful; slow to anger and great in covenant faithfulness.
9Yahweh is good to all, and his tender mercies are over all his works.
10Let all your works give thanks to you, O Yahweh, and let your faithful people bless you.
11Let them speak of the glory of your kingdom and talk about your power;
12to make known to the children of men his mighty acts and the glory of the majesty of his kingdom.
13Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your rule endures throughout all generations. Yahweh is faithful in all his words, and loyal in all his works.
14Yahweh supports all who fall, and raises up all those who are bowed down.
15The eyes of everyone wait for you, and you give them their food in due time.
16You open your hand and satisfy every living thing, with pleasure.
17Yahweh is righteous in all his ways, and loyal in all his works.
18Yahweh is near to all those who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.
19He will fulfill the longing of those who fear him; he also will hear their cry and will deliver them.
20Yahweh keeps watch over all who love him, but all the wicked he will exterminate.
21My mouth will speak the praise of Yahweh, and let all flesh bless his holy name forever and ever.
