My heart is set, O God. I will sing, yes, I will make music with my soul.
Rouse yourself, O lyre and harp! I will rouse the dawn.
I will praise you, O Yahweh, among the people. Yes, I will make music to you among the nations.
For your covenant faithfulness is great above the heavens, and your truth to the clouds.
Be exalted, O God, above the heavens! And let your glory be over all the earth!
So that your beloved people may be delivered, save with your right hand and answer me!
God has spoken from his sanctuary: “I will triumph. I will divide Shechem, and measure out the Valley of Sukkoth.
Gilead is mine. Manasseh is mine. Ephraim also is the protection of my head. Judah is my scepter.
Moab is my wash pot. I will toss my sandal toward Edom. I will shout in jubilation over Philistia.”
Who will bring me into the fortified city? Who has led me to Edom?
O God, have you not rejected us? And will you not go out with our armies, O God?
Give us help against our foe, for the deliverance of man is worthless. Through God we will do a mighty work, for it is he who will trample down our foes.
Through God we will do valiantly. For it is he who will tread down our enemies.
