O Yahweh, do not reprove me in your anger, nor correct me in your wrath.
Show favor unto me, O Yahweh, for I am frail. Heal me, O Yahweh, for my bones are troubled.
My soul is also very troubled. But you, O Yahweh–how long?
Return, O Yahweh. Deliver my soul and save me on account of your covenant faithfulness.
For in death no one remembers you. In Sheol, who can give you praise?
I am weary with my groaning. Every night I make my bed swim. I flood my couch with my tears.
My eye wastes away because of grief. It grows old because of all those who act hostile to me.
Depart from me, all you workers of wickedness, because Yahweh has heard the voice of my weeping.
Yahweh has heard my supplication. Yahweh accepts my prayer.
Let all my enemies be ashamed and very troubled. May they turn back, and may they be suddenly ashamed.
