Suddenly he walks after her,
like an ox goes to the slaughter,
like a stag stepping into a snare, Bible see other translations

“Suddenly.” This paints the picture of the young man who has been talking with the woman, considering her words and her proposition, and then “suddenly,” impulsively, he reacts and follows her. This is the opposite of wisdom. Wisdom considers her ways (Prov. 21:29), while he is acting impulsively on his carnal desires.
