Every prudent person acts with knowledge, but a fool displays foolishness.
A wicked messenger will fall into evil, but a faithful messenger brings healing.
The one who ignores discipline will get poverty and dishonor, but the one who heeds reproof will be honored.
A desire fulfilled is sweet to the soul, but it is an abomination to fools to turn away from evil.
The one who walks with the wise will become wise, but the one who associates with fools will suffer harm.
Evil eagerly pursues sinners, but goodness will reward the righteous.
A good person will provide an inheritance for his children’s children, but the wealth of the sinner is being stored up for the righteous person.
An abundance of food is in the unplowed soil of the poor,d but it is carried away because of a lack of justice.
