The one who loves discipline loves knowledge, but the one who hates reproof is stupid.
A good person will obtain favor from Yahweh, but a person with wicked schemes, he will condemn.
A person will not be established by wickedness, but the root of the righteous will not be moved.
An excellent wife is the crown of her husband, but one who puts him to shame is like decay in his bones.
The thoughts of the righteous are just, but the guidance of the wicked is deceitful.
The words of the wicked lie in wait for blood, but the mouth of the upright will deliver them.
The wicked will be overthrown and will be no more, but the house of the righteous will stand.
A person will be praised for his insightful mouth, but the one who has a twisted heart will be viewed with contempt.
Better is one who is dishonored and has a servant for himself, than one who glorifies himself and lacks bread.
The righteous person cares for the life of his animal, but the compassions of the wicked are cruel.
The one who works his land will be satisfied with bread, but the one who pursues worthless things lacks sense.
The wicked person treasures the mountain stronghold of evil people, but the root of the righteous is secure.
By the transgression of his lips an evil person will fall into a snare, but the righteous person will escape from trouble.
From the fruit of his mouth a person is satisfied with good, and the accomplishments of a person’s hands will return to him.
The road of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise person listens to counsel.
The anger of a fool is known at once, but a prudent person conceals dishonor.
The one who speaks what is faithful declares an honest testimony, but a false witness utters deceit.
There is one who speaks recklessly, like the stabbings of a sword, but the tongue of the wise is healing.
Truthful lips will be established continually, but a lying tongue will linger only for a moment.
Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil, but those who counsel peace have joy.
No disaster will come upon the righteous person, but the wicked are filled with misfortune.
Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do what is faithful obtain his favor.
A prudent person conceals knowledge, but the heart of fools proclaims foolishness.
The hand of the diligent will rule, but the slack hand will become a forced laborer.
Anxiety in a person’s heart weighs it down, but a good word makes it glad.
A righteous person shows the way for his neighbor, but the road of the wicked causes thema to wander astray.
Laziness does not cook a person’s food, but his precious wealth is diligence.
In the path of righteousness is life, and the journey of that road will not end in death.
