“Laziness.” The Hebrew word is remiyah (#07423 רְמִיָּה), and means slackness; sluggish, lax, negligent, and careless behavior. It occurs 4 times in Proverbs: Proverbs 10:4, 12:24, 27 and 19:15, and is translated “slack” the other three times. See commentary on Prov. 10:4 for more information.
