Kedesh, Hazor, Ithnan, Bible see other translations

“Hazor.” Not the town also called Hazor in the north of Israel in the tribal area of Naphtali which has been located and is well-known (cp. Judg. 4:2), but an unlocated town in the tribal area of Judah. “Hazor” means “fortified” or “enclosed,” and because there were a lot of fortified towns there were a lot of potential towns named “Hazor.”
