Just as we listened to Moses in all things, so will we listen to you. Only may Yahweh your God be with you, as he was with Moses.
“listened.” The Hebrew word is “listened” (or “heard”), but in this context, it includes the idea of “obey,” which is why some versions have “listened” and some have “obeyed” (cp. HCSB; ESV; NASB).
