“I am restricted.” Jeremiah could not go into the Temple, but no reason is given as to why. Scholars have suggested various reasons, such as Jeremiah’s earlier prophecies which made him unwelcome at the Temple, or it may have been that he had some kind of sickness that made him unclean at the time. The fact is that we do not know the reason.
