This is what Yahweh says: Do justice and righteousness; and rescue the one who has been robbed from the hand of his oppressor, and do no wrong nor do violence to the foreigner, the fatherless, or the widow; and do not shed innocent blood in this place. Bible see other translations

“righteousness.” In this context, “righteousness” is doing what is right to God and others (see commentary on Matt. 5:6). This verse lists some ways we can be just and righteous toward others.
