Isaac went out to ponder in the field at the evening. He lifted up his eyes and saw, and behold, there were camels coming. Bible see other translations

“ponder.” The Hebrew is uncertain. It may also mean to relax, or to walk, and some translations have “meditate,” but due to the modern meaning of meditate, that seems like a poor translation in this case. It seems he was relaxing, thinking, praying, and perhaps walking as well.
