Lands for the Twelve Tribes, Ruler, Priests, Levites, and Jerusalem

Now these are the names of the tribes: Beginning from the north end, along the side of the road to Hethlon as far as Lebo-hamath, Hazar-enon at the border of Damascus, northward beside Hamath, (and they will have their sides extend from east to west), Dan, one portion.
And on the border of Dan, from the east side to the west side, Asher, one portion.
And on the border of Asher, from the east side even to the west side, Naphtali, one portion.
And on the border of Naphtali, from the east side to the west side, Manasseh, one portion.
And on the border of Manasseh, from the east side to the west side, Ephraim, one portion.
And on the border of Ephraim, from the east side even to the west side, Reuben, one portion.
And on the border of Reuben, from the east side to the west side, Judah, one portion.

And on the southern border of Judah, from the east side to the west side, will be the offering that you are to offer, 25,000 cubits in width,a and as long as one of the other tribe’s portions from the east side to the west side; and the sanctuary will be in its middle.

The offering that you are to offer to Yahweh will be 25,000 cubits in length,b and 10,000 in width.c
And for these, even for the priests, will be the holy offering. The side toward the north will be 25,000 in length, and the side toward the west 10,000 in width, and toward the east 10,000 in width, and toward the south 25,000 in length, and the sanctuary of Yahweh will be in its middle.
It will be for the priests of the sons of Zadok who are sanctified, who kept my instruction, who did not go astray when the children of Israel went astray, as the Levites went astray.
It will be an offering to them from the offering of the land, a most holy place next to the territory of the Levites.

And alongside the territory for the priests, the Levites will have 25,000 in length,d and 10,000 in width;e the whole length will be 25,000, and the width 10,000.
And they must not sell any of it, nor exchange it. Nor is this choice portion of the land to be transferred, for it is holy to Yahweh.

And the remainder, 5,000 cubits in widthf and 25,000 in length,g will be for common use for the city, for living and for open land. And the city of Jerusalem will be in its middle.
These are to be its measurements: the north side 4,500 cubits,h and the south side 4,500, and on the east side 4,500, and the west side 4,500.

The city will have pastureland: toward the north 250 cubits,i and toward the south 250, and toward the east 250, and toward the west 250.

The remainder in the length, alongside the holy offering, will be 10,000 cubits eastward,j and 10,000 westward; and it will be alongside the holy offering. And its produce will be for food for the workers of the city.
And the workers of the city, who are from all the tribes of Israel, will cultivate it.
The entire offering will be 25,000 by 25,000 cubits;k you are to offer the holy offering, a square that includes the property of the city,
and the remaining land will be for the prince. It will be on the one side and on the other side of the holy offering and of the property of the city, extending from the 25,000 cubit border of the offering area to the east border of the land, and extending westward from the 25,000 cubit border of the offering area to the west border of the land, parallel to the tribal portions. It will be for the prince. And the holy offering and the sanctuary of the house will be in its middle.
Thus the possession of the Levites and the property of the city will be in the middle of that which belongs to the prince, because the land between the border of Judah and the border of Benjamin will be for the prince.
As for the rest of the tribes: from the east side to the west side, Benjamin, one portion.
And on the border of Benjamin, from the east side to the west side, Simeon, one portion.
And on the border of Simeon, from the east side to the west side, Issachar, one portion.
By the border of Issachar, from the east side to the west side, Zebulun, one portion.
And on the border of Zebulun, from the east side to the west side, Gad, one portion.

And on the border of Gad, at the south side toward the south, the border will be even from Tamar to the waters of Meribath Kadesh, to the Brook of Egypt, to the Great Sea.
This is the land that you are to divide by lot to the tribes of Israel for inheritance, and these will be their portions, says the Lord Yahweh.

The Gates of Jerusalem

These are the exits of the city: On the north side, which is 4,500 cubitsl by measure,
there will be three gates facing north; the gates of the city will be according to the names of the tribes of Israel, the gate of Reuben, one; the gate of Judah, one; the gate of Levi, one.
On the east side, which is 4,500 cubits, will be three gates: even the gate of Joseph, one; the gate of Benjamin, one; the gate of Dan, one.
On the south side, which is 4,500 cubits by measure, there will be three gates: the gate of Simeon, one; the gate of Issachar, one; the gate of Zebulun, one.
On the west side, which is 4,500 cubits, will be three gates: the gate of Gad, one; the gate of Asher, one; the gate of Naphtali, one.

The distance around the city will be 18,000 cubits, and the name of the city from that day forward will be, “Yahweh is There.”
