Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions of it, will say to you, ‘Have you come to take the spoil? Have you assembled your hordes to take the plunder? To carry away silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods, to take great spoil?’
“the young lions.” The young and powerful leaders. This is the figure of speech hypocatastasis, comparison by implication (see commentary on Rev. 20:2).
“hordes.” This is the army, see Ezek. 38:15.
