“Observe the month of Abib and keep the Passover to Yahweh your God, for in the month of Abib Yahweh your God brought you forth out of Egypt by night.
You are to sacrifice the Passover to Yahweh your God of the flock and the herd in the place that Yahweh will choose to cause his name to dwell there.
You must eat no leavened bread with it. You are to eat unleavened bread with it seven days, even the bread of affliction, for you came out of the land of Egypt in haste; that you may remember the day when you came out of the land of Egypt all the days of your life.
No yeast is to be seen with you in all your borders seven days, neither is any of the flesh that you sacrifice the first day at evening to remain all night until the morning.
You may not sacrifice the Passover inside any of your gates that Yahweh your God gives you;
but at the place that Yahweh your God will choose to cause his name to dwell in, there you must sacrifice the Passover at evening, at the going down of the sun at the season that you came out of Egypt.
You are to roast and eat it in the place that Yahweh your God will choose, and in the morning you are to return and go to your tents.
Six days you must eat unleavened bread. On the seventh day is to be a solemn assembly to Yahweh your God; you must do no work.
“You are to count for yourselves seven weeks, from the time you begin to put the sickle to the standing grain you are to begin to number seven weeks.
You are to keep the Feast of Weeks to Yahweh your God with a tribute of a freewill offering of your hand, which you are to give according as Yahweh your God blesses you,
and you are to rejoice before Yahweh your God, you and your son and your daughter, and your male servant and your female servant and the Levite who is inside your gates, and the foreigner and the fatherless and the widow who are in the midst of you, in the place that Yahweh your God will choose to cause his name to dwell there.
You are to remember that you were a bondservant in Egypt, and you are to observe and do these statutes.
“You are to keep the Feast of Booths seven days, after that you have gathered in from your threshing floor and from your winepress,
and you are to rejoice in your feast, you and your son and your daughter, and your male servant and your female servant, and the Levite and the foreigner and the fatherless and the widow who are inside your gates.
You are to keep a feast to Yahweh your God seven days in the place that Yahweh will choose, because Yahweh your God will bless you in all your increase and in all the work of your hands, and you will be altogether joyful.
“Three times in a year all your males are to appear before Yahweh your God in the place that he will choose, in the Feast of Unleavened Bread and in the Feast of Weeks and in the Feast of Booths, and they are not to appear before Yahweh empty;
every man must give as he is able according to the blessing of Yahweh your God that he has given to you.
“You are to make judges and officers in all your gates that Yahweh your God gives you according to your tribes, and they are to judge the people with righteous judgment.
Do not pervert justice. You must not respect persons, nor are you to take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and pervert the words of the righteous.
You are to follow that which is altogether just, that you may live and inherit the land that Yahweh your God gives you.
“Do not plant for yourselves an Asherah of any kind of tree beside the altar of Yahweh your God that you will make for yourselves,
nor are you to set up a standing-stone for yourself, which Yahweh your God hates.”
